I found this statuette a few years ago on an art market.
It is in the right tradition of Le Baiser or “The Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville,” taken in Paris in 1950, by Robert Doisneau. Or the sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square on V-J Day by Alfred Eisenstaedt’s, in 1945. You may think also about The Kiss of Gustav Klimt, 1907-1908, it is also very near of Auguste Rodin’s idea for his Kiss.
